October 18, 2019 The time has come for us to start our winter season. You can see the flier below with the information for our Elementary team. This team is for beginning level wrestlers. 4th -6th graders with 2+ years experience are encouraged to join the Junior high Team.

Sept 25, 2019 Excited to get this year going. We are gearing up for a great winter season. Our kickoff event is for those that have not participated in wrestling before. We host a little kids camp/clinic each year to give newcomers a taste before committing to an Entire season. Detail can be found below on the attached flier.
October 25, 2018 Tonight we will wrap up our Fall Kids camp. Then in two weeks we will start our winter seasons for all ages. The elementary schedule is below. Check out the Junior High Team and High school team pages for details on the schedule for the winter seasons.

Spring Season Schedule: Tuesday and Thursday 5:00 - 6:00. Practice will start on Feb. 21st.
Feb. 17, 2017 SPRING Practice schedule for the Elementary team is as follows: First Practice will be Tuesday February 21st at 5:00. We will practice each Tuesday and Thursday from 5:00-6:00. Each Wrestler will need a USA Wrestling Card which can be purchased by clicking here and viewing the PowerPoint that walks through the steps to purchase. The Club Team name is Cave Club. Please spread the word to let others know that the Spring season is here. We will Focus on all 3 styles of wrestling; Freestyle, Greco, as well as Folkstyle. We hope to see you all there.
October 2, 2016 It is that time of the year again. The leaves are starting to fall, the days are getting shorter and the nights are getting longer. That means wrestling season is just around the corner. American Fork Caveman Wrestling team is again excited to host the Fall Camp for those that may be interested in checking out the sport of wrestling. February 23, 2016 One Season gone and another one starting. Thanks to Coach Elton and a few of the other parents for helping our winter season. We had a lot of fun, learned a little about wrestling and other athletic skills. It is now time to start our Spring Season. The Schedule will be as follows: Wednesday and Thursday 5:30 - 6:30. We hope you will come and join us, and that you will spread the word. We want to see these young wrestlers learn the basics, have fun, and someday become a State Champion (we hope for the Caveman Wrestling team).
Nov. 23, 2015 Just Wanted to Send out a quick reminder that we will be starting our k - 5 Grade practices Tomorrow November 24th at 6:30. There are Sign up sheets available onsite. Each wrestler will need to purchase a USA wrestling Card before the second practice to be held on December 1st. Practices will be held Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30 - 7:30 in the AFHS wrestling room. Jed Elton will be the Head Coach and we are hoping to get a few more parents to help out as well. Oct. 29, 2015 Wanted to say thanks to the 60+ Pre K - 6 graders that came and participated in the Annual Fall Cave Club wrestling clinic. We had a great turnout. In years past we have had about 25 kids show up. This year we had over 60 kids sign up. It was a little rough the first day, but I feel like it went well. we hope all that participated enjoyed the experience. Watch for pictures of the practices and final tournament soon. we will do another clinic again in the fall.
If there are any parents that would like to help us with the cave club Elementary team, we would love to start a season that will continue until January. If interested please contact coach Spencer ASAP at 801-400-5932. We have an interest from parents that would be willing to help, but cannot commit to being the head elementary coach. there are even others that would be willing to share the load and work with others to make this happen. Please let me know if you or someone you know would be interested in this position. Thanks again for a great kickoff to our season.
Oct 1, 2015 American Fork High School and Cave Club wrestling is looking for a someone to take over our elementary team. This would consist of 2 practices a week for 1 hour each practice. There are resources available to help in teaching the technique (which will be basic level technique). There are practice plan outlines also available to help make the planning easy. please contact coach Eric Spencer at 801-400-5932 if you are interested in helping us out. There is a small coaching stipend available at the end of the season.
